Terms of Use

The service

DuaLock calculates prayer times, helps you block distracting apps during salah, and tracks your prayer consistency. Prayer times are astronomical calculations based on the location and calculation method you choose. They can differ from your local mosque, and DuaLock is not a religious authority. Please don’t rely on DuaLock alone for prayer timing. App blocking depends on Apple’s Screen Time technology and the permissions you grant; iOS limits mean blocking can occasionally be delayed or unavailable.

Subscriptions & billing

• DuaLock requires a paid membership: weekly at $5.99/week, or annual at $49.99/year with a 3-day free trial (prices in USD; local prices may vary).
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• App Store purchases are billed to your Apple ID and are managed or cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple.
• Web purchases are billed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel anytime at dua-lock.superwall.app/manage, which is also where you retrieve the redemption link that unlocks the app.
• Prices may change; we’ll give notice before any change affects a renewal.

Your account

DuaLock creates an anonymous account automatically, no email or password. If you claim a username, it must not impersonate others or be offensive. You can delete your account and data anytime in Settings.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse DuaLock: no reverse engineering, no interfering with the service, no abusive usernames, and no use that violates the law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app; all rights in DuaLock remain ours.

Disclaimers & liability

DuaLock is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Notifications, blocking, and calculated times may fail or be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination & changes

You can stop using DuaLock anytime; we may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use means acceptance.
